We came out from the Utica area, and it was well worth the trip. I always knew in my mind what good BBQ should taste like and after many years of looking, I wondered if I was expecting too much. Well, I found it here and felt like I was in heaven. The brisket was our favorite, but the naked ribs and pulled pork were also very good. No need to smother the brisket and ribs in sauce like those other places because the meat holds up just fine as-is. The macaroni salad and potato salad were different than I'm used to, but in a very good way. The corn bread was the best we've ever tried...moist, fluffy, and not gritty at all. (I told my girlfriend you should call it "corn cake"! ) The only down side is that we've got two certificates for another BBQ place we haven't been to and it will be difficult to give them a fair review knowing they won't be able to come close to Wagon Train's food. We look forward to trying all of your menu items, but it's going to take a while if one of us keeps getting brisket or ribs!
